Crucifixion.

I remembered watching a show about a Doctor who performed live autopsys some years ago and found it incredibly interesting. I then remembered that the same Doctor had done an art project about Jesus using human blood vessels. This is some really great research for my project as it shows almost all of the vessels of the human body in perfect shape.

The famed anatomist Dr Gunther von Hagens creates his interpretation of the Crucifixion, in a documentary that examines the enduring iconic image of the Crucifix. The blood vessels are injected with a red plastic that hardens in minutes creating a perfect replica of the bodies vascular system. Everything is then dissolved away over 4 weeks leaving only the hard red plastic.
